Raptor offers in-house fabrication and welding services with the capability to do all kinds of work targeting mobile or even fixed plant applications.

For one of our amazing customers, we had the opportunity to create a base edge assembly for a Komatsu PC800. The customer sent the adapters to our facility, and we designed an effective lip assembly with a 3" HarderPlate® base to fit. We incorporated our line of Defender® Chocky Bars to protect the base edge area between the adapters against scalloping. We used a weld on half-arrow to safeguard the base edge while providing better ground penetration. As well, to prevent the base edge from wearing out prematurely, we used RaptorPlate® Chromium Carbide Overlay Plate BEEP's (Base End Edge Protectors) to complete the build.
